Although every other flight at Newark International Airport was delayed by at least 3 hours this day, the bitch behind the counter at US Airways still found a way to make is seem like it was my fault for getting to the ticket counter 3 minutes after the gate had closed. No, I am not angry at all.

Local Snow

Mt. Baldy is a place to ski within an hour of L.A. There is stuff on the ground that some people would not consider to be real snow, and chairlifts have wooden seats. Did I mention it's only an hour from L.A.?

Snow Caps From the Armpit of Hell

Burbank California is probably the hottest patch of Paved Urban Hell outside Arizona from about July to September. But look closely at the view from my office at Warner Bros, and you can see the snow caps in the distance, mocking me as sweat drips onto my iPhone.
